MARY GAJDOSTIK

Mary A. Gajdostik, 91, a former Kiel resident, died Monday evening, March 13, at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein where she was a resident since 1977.

She is the former Mary Konecny born Nov. 8, 1897 in Vilfsdorf, Austria, he daughter of Joseph and Marie Jochova Konecny. She attended school in Austria. She moved to the United States in 1913.

On August 17, 1915, she married Anton Gajdostik in Savanna, Illinois. The couple moved to Kiel in 1964. Her husband died April 30, 1975. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and its Christian Mothers.

Survivors include two sons, Tony (Pat) of rural New Holstein; Joseph (Dorothy) Albany, Georgia; two daughters, Lillian Stevens, Milwaukee; Bea (Al) Redfield, Rochester, New York; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Francis Smetka, Czechoslovakia. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A memorial funeral Mass will be announced at a later date.
