On March 1, 1849, Sophia married William Goldsmith in Lima, Allen County, Ohio, and became stepmother to William's four children he had with his first wife Nancy.
William and Sophia went on to have three daughters, Mary Magdalene, who is my G-Grandmother, Nancy and Sophia E.
William Goldsmith died July 24, 1858.
On December 13, 1877, in Allen County, Ohio, Sophia married Jonathon Bailey. He was her 2nd husband and she was his 2nd wife. They had no known children together.
