Greenview, Oct. 11 - Thomas Cleveland [sic], died yesterday of spinal meningitis at his home in this city, age 50 [sic?] years.
Mr. Cleveland was born three miles west of Greenview and had been a resident of Menard county all his life. He was born March 11, 1858 [sic] and was next to the youngest of eleven children.
He was married May 10, 1855 to Miss Mary E. O'Banion at the residence of Rev. R.D. Miller, who then lived at Concord, some four miles southwest of Petersburg.
He leaves a sorrowing wife and three children, all boys.
