"Funeral services for Jesse Greub, 87 year old Buffalo man who passed away late Friday evening, Jan 10, 1986, at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital were held Tuesday, 14 Jan at 2p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Wilkins officiating. Burial was in Willow Grove Cemetery and friends may donate to the Buffalo Helping Hands in care of the funeral home.

Jesse F. Greub was born on 6 Apr 1898 on the family ranch on Middle Fork of Crazy Woman south of Buffalo to John and Minnie Greub. He grew up and received his schooling on the ranch in what was then Greub, WY. He attended a technical institute in Billings, MT for a short time, where he studied business. Jesse then returned to the ranch where he helped his mother run their ranch, road house, telephone office and post office.

Jesse took over the ranch in 1913 and was then married on 29 Jul 1925 in Buffalo, Wy to Mae Young and they made their home on the ranch. Jesse and Mae worked the ranch until October of 1984 when Mae passed away. Jesse continued to work the ranch himself until the time of his death.

He is survived by one son, Alfred of Buffalo; one daughter, Clara Joubert of Buffalo; one sister, Bertha Elsom of Buffalo; four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and one granddaughter.

Active pallbearers were Roy Guess, Warren Burger, Ernest Lanning, Don Sypien, Wayne Bollinger and Roger Norman. Honorary pallbearers were Wes Taylor, Ellis Patch, Preston Bollinger, Francis Joubert, Murray Patch and Russell Wright."
