Rites for Mrs. Thelma Voxland Olson who died April 16th were held Sunday at First Lutheran church in Clearbrook with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Knutson conducted the services with Halterman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
His death occurred suddenly at Ah-Gwah-Ching sanatorium, Walker, eight weeks after she entered the institution for special care. She was 34 years old.
A daughter of the late Tom and Clara Johnson, she was born May 1, 1916 in Queen township, Polk county. The family residence was changed to Winsor Township, Clearwater County. In 1922 when she was 8 years old, and since then she had resided in the farm locality north east of Gonvick.
She was united in marriage April 16, 1934 to Rudolph Voxland who passed away August 27, 1944. In August 1948 she married George Olson who survives as do seven family members. They are Betty, Iolene, Gloria, Stanley, Roy, Larry and Bobby.
Survivors of the parental family include three sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Elmer Kise, Gonvick; Mrs. Harvey Westrum, Mrs. Iver Lien, Clearbrook, Paul, Sidney and Wilfred of Gonvick and Floyd Johnson of Gully community.
