Higgins: In Westport township, on Sunday, November 19, 1899, Sadie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Higgins, age 7 years, 10 months and 13 days. Four of the family have been very sick with typhoid fever for some weeks past. This little one was seemingly getting better but at last was not strong enough to resist the summons of the Angel of Death. No funeral services were held, owing to the sickness of the family. The remains were laid to rest in the Milford cemetery on Monday.
