Aged Resident Passes Away. Mrs. Mary B. McMillan Had Been in Des Moines Many Years.
Death last night relieved the sufferings of Mrs. Mary B. McMillen, age 71 years, who for three years has been afflicted with paralysis. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.L.Granger, 1428 Twenty-ninth street.
Mrs. McMillen was a native of Illinois, being born seventy-one years ago.About fifty years ago she was married to Mr. J.E.McMillen, who died ten years ago. Since his death, she has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Granger. Mrs. McMillen was a member of the Christian church. The funeral services will be held from the house tomorrow afternoon. Rev. C.S.Medbury officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
Mrs. McMillen is survived by four daughters, Mrs. G.L.Granger, Mrs. C.E.Corwin and Miss Mary E. McMillen of this city; Mrs. A.E.Hollister, Iroquois, N.Y., and Mrs. J.L.Johnson of California, and two sons, Mr. H.C.McMIllen of Desmet, S.D., and E.P.of Iona, Minn.
