Soldier of the Revolution. Is said to have crossed the Delaware with General Washington, and fought at the battle of Trenton. Samuel also served in the War of 1812. He was a surveyor, and received land grant. First settled Cadiz, Harrison Co., OH, was in Richland Co., OH by 1812.
