P.A. Parton, age 88 of Yellville, passed from this life on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home. He was a son of the late Roy and Ina (Huey) Parton and was born in Sikeston, Missouri on July 3, 1920. P.A. was a life-long farmer and was a member of Farm Bureau. He married Justyne Narramore on July 23, 1949.
P.A. is survived by his wife, Justyne of the home in Yellville; two sons, Clay Parton and Bill Parton both of Yellville; four grandchildren, Chris, Ian, Catlin and Mikala; and one great-grandchild, Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Susan Ina Parton; and one brother, P.J. Parton.
Visitation for P.A. Parton will be held between 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 at Burns Funeral Home with services to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3 at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Cremer officiating. Interment will follow at George's Creek Cemetery in Yellville. Pallbearers are Bill Parton, Clay Parton, Doug Royston, Ian Parton, Scott Wingate, Chris Parton and Michael McCalla.
