GAYLORD—At her Euclid farm home, Route 31, Friday, May 31, 1957, Mrs. Emma Gaylord, 102 years old, one of Onondaga county's oldest citizens. Mrs. Gaylord, a life resident of the Town of Clay except for several years when she lived at Lisle, was born April 27, 1855. and had been active until her 100th birthday braiding rugs which she sold and gave to friends. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Higgs and Mrs. Kittie Cooper of Liverpool; one son, Henry Gaylord of Euclid; 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 p. m., In the Sears funeral home, North Syracuse. Interment was made In Pine Plains cemetery, Clay.
