Mr. Paul Elano Mader, Jr - a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Al died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in a local hospital at the age of 66.
He was President and General Manager of Mader Bearing Supply, Inc. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church.
He was the son of Mr. Paul E. Mader, Sr. (deceased) and Mrs. Susie L. Mader.
He is survived by his mother, Susie L. Mader, his sister Mary Jane Mader of Houston, TX, and his brother David C. Mader of Mobile, AL.
Mr. Mader will be remembered for his many years of dedication and commitment to Mader Bearing Supply, Inc. and the community it serves. His leadership and expertise has been responsible for the success of many employees, past and present. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral service was held Monday, March 23, at 11:00am in the Chapel, Pine Crest Funeral Home, at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway. Funeral service was conducted by High Priest George Farnell, Sr, assisted by High Priest Thomas Sutton. Pallbearers were Rick Lord, Mike Gough, Trey Smith, Clay Womelsdorff, Ken Partridge, Jason Clark, Kenny Warren, and Carl Henry. Honorary pallbearer was Harold Allen. In his youth Paul Mader attained Eagle Scout with Troop 12, Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Murphy High School, Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa, where he received AA. He graduated from University of Alabama with BS, University of South Alabama with MS, and University of Southern Mississippi with PhD.
