He was born Nov. 23, 1952, in New Castle, the son of Donald Ray and Jewell LaDoris Cook Sublett. He lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was in the Army from 1970 to 1978. He worked for Arrowtech as a builder. He was a member of Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion and the former Madison Eagles. He was a Christian.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Keith Sublett of North Vernon, Michael "Scott" Robert Sublett of Tucson, Ariz., and Daniel Sublett of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Mikka Sublett of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Pamela Kohli of Toberg, N.Y., and Kathie Geist of Versailles; three brothers, James Sublett of Madison, Eddie Sublett of Buford, Ga., and Dale Sublett of Goshen; six grandchildren; three aunts; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Timmy Wayne Sublett; and his grandparents, Ernie and Gladys Sublett.
The funeral was at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
