Charlotte Margarette Jackson was the third and youngest child of Nathan Wesley Jackson and Ida Ellen (Collier) Jackson. Her siblings were Mary Ellen and John William, aka "Buddy". Many years later Mary Ellen recalled that her sister was a very happy baby and described her as "just a little doll". This is the only known photograph of Charlotte. She became ill with enterocolitis and died at 5pm on October 19, 1916. She is buried in the Collier family plot alongside her maternal uncles, aunts and grandparents.
