Edith V. Ashenfelter RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Edith Virginia (Baldwin) Ashenfelter, 91, of Route 3, Ridgeley, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at the Cumberland Nursing Home. Born Feb. 22, 1913, in Patterson Creek, she was the daughter of the late George Seymore and Mary Ann (Abe) Baldwin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ashenfelter; and her siblings, Felix Baldwin, Grace Cox, Virginia Cox, Carrie Viola Wigfield, Frederick Baldwin, Harry Wilbur Baldwin, Nellie B. Rhodes, Susie Cox, Daisy Page Weaver, Golden E. Baldwin and Freda E. Powell.
Mrs. Ashenfelter had worked at the Cumberland Celanese Plant.
She is survived by several special nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Hymes and the Rev. Douglas Seaman officiating.
Interment will be in Abe Cemetery.
