Funeral services are pending with the Martin Funeral Home for Robert F. Green who died of an apparent heart attack this morning.

Funeral Friday

Funeral services for Robert Franklin "Roy" Green will be conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel Friday, May 27, at 3:30 p.m. with Vicar Raymond Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Ural Cemetery.

Mr. Green was born May 25, 1925, in Davenport, lowa, and died suddenly early Wednesday morning, May 25, at the age of 58. He had lived in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas before moving permanently to Elk City in 1958. He was married to Virginia Daugherty in March(sic) of 1949(sic) in Couer(sic) d'Alene, Idaho, and she survives him. He was employed by the Shell Oil Company before retiring in 1809. He was associated with the German Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Virginia, of the home; three sons, Brian Green and Bruce Green, both of Elk City, and Boyd Green of the home; two brothers, Pat Green and Johnny Green, both of Alliance, Neb.; and 4 grandchildren
