The two married resided in Wilcox County, between Rochelle and Pineview Ga. Down a country dirt road the two shared the special bond of love with their 9 beautiful children.
Facing many hardships as many did in that day and time, they were overcomers of all they faced.times was hard, food was grown by each family.houses no plumbing inside.But the love flowed.
One would have to understand where people came from in this day and time. So much wasn't talked about in the open. Women expecting stayed inside. All these families endured was in hopes that it would be easier for future generations.
Ola was a mother, homemaker, dr, nurse,teacher,leader all rolled up into one.
Ola around the age 48/49 found out she had breast cancer.Her daughter Dell, was married and caught the school bus every morning to her mom to help with chores for her parents.when school was out Dell caught the bus back to her home in Pineview to do at her own home.
Ola loved her husband and J.b. loved Ola. Ola would help her husband milk cows, and chores, then attend to her own chore. This love they shared overflowed to their children.
Ola passed away in May at 49. J.b. stayed until the house burned, then moving to Pavo Ga. Where years later he passed.
