He was bon November 11,1917 in Mason County, Kentucky, the son of the late James N. and Rose Dickson Carpenter.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer, painter, worked at the Union Warehouse for several years and for Blue Flame
Gas Company for several years. His wife Iris Cobb Carpenter of Russellville;
Funeral services were held March 6th at the Knechtly-Potts Funeral Home in Russellville. Rev. Dale McClurg officiated. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Russellville.
