Funeral services were held Friday at 2 pm in the Wright funeral home at Nappanee for Emanuel Blyly, 85, who died in his home at 253 north Elm street, Nappanee, following a two-year illness.

The Rev Paul Brenneman, pastor of the United Missionary Church, officiated. Burial was in South Union cemetery.

Mr Blyly was born Nov 30, 1866, north of Nappanee, the son of Fred and Mary Warner Blyly.

His marriage to Hettie Miller occurred in Nappanee Nov 30, 1905.

Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs Frank Hess of Goshen and Mrs Henry Moneyheffer of Nappanee; three sons, Vernon O and Harold W, both of Elkhart, and Wilbur of Peoria, Ill; a brother, William Blyly of Hartford City; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
