Benjamin Franklin Bailey was born April 28, 1842 to David Charles Bailey and Rhoda Daniels Bailey. He was the 6th of 9 children born to them.
Benjamin was married three times: (1) Tammy K Porter, May 1866 in Dunn County, Wisconsin. They had two children. (2) Bertha E Savage, 1886 in Missouri, no known children. (3) Georgianna Williams, March 1889 in Jasper County, Missouri. They had three known children.
He died May 6, 1915 at Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, and was buried May 8, 1915 in the Fairview Cemetery at Joplin.
