Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Hubert Montgomery, of Greenview; Mrs. Walter Snyder; Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald, Mrs. Paul Cantrall, Mrs. John Kerr, and Mrs. John Antle, all of Peoria; Alvin Gilkison, of Greenview; Irving, of Long Beach, Calif.; and Ike, of DeKalb; 25 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the Sweetwater Church of Christ with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery.

CHURCH DINNER FEATURES GOLDEN WEDDING CELEBRATION AT SWEETWATER
More than one hundred twenty-five relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Gilkison of Sweetwater, attended the golden wedding held in their honor yesterday at the Sweetwater Christian church.
A bounteous dinner was served in the dining room of the church, the feature of wich was an enormous wedding anniversary cake, prepared by Mrs. Edith Montogomery, one of Mr. and Mrs. Gilkison's daughters.
The picture, taken at the dinner, shows the couple and their children. They are: Grace, at home; Mrs. Ida Cantrall, of Peoria; Mrs. Mae Snyder, of New Holland; Alvin, of Greenview; Mr. and Mrs. Gilkison; Mrs. Montgomery, of Greenview; Isaac, of Sweetwater; Mrs. Fannie Fitzgerald, of Peoria; and Mrs. Lucille Keer, of Peoria.
They also have another son, Irvin, of Compton, Calif., who was not present, twenty-three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
They were married in Hillsboro, Ky., at the home of a sister, Mrs. Minerva Smoot, by Rev. Elisha Powers.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilkison came to Illinois in 1910 and have lived in Sweetwater twenty-three years.
