Christine A Kowalewski, Age 63, of Wilmington DE passed away February 2, 2003.
Chrissy was born in Wilmington to the Vincent and Josephine (Grabowski) Kowalewski.
She is survived by 1 brother, Rev John A Kowalewski OSFS of Wilmington; 4 sisters, Florence (Kowalewski) McCorkle and Joanne (Kowalewski) Magdycz, both of Wilmington DE, Mother Mary Jozefa Kowalewski VHM of Snellville GA and Sr Mary Vincent Kowalewski OSFS of Childs MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Chrissy was preceded in death in 1990 by her sister, Felicia (Kowalewski) Talarowski of Wilmington DE and in 2000 by her brother, Rev Vincent J Kowalewski OSFS of Childs MD.
A viewing will be 7-9 pm, Wednesday, February 5 at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her brother, Father John at 10:30 am, Thursday, February 6 at St Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 408 S Harrison St, followed by interment at Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Oblate Sisters of St Francis de Sales, 399 Childs Road, Childs MD 21916 or the Sisters of the Visitation, 2005 Ridgedale Road, Snellville GA 30078.
