Graveside services for Kenneth Atteberry, 82, Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 31 at Haven of Memories Cemetery, Canton, with Rev. Shelby Davidson officiating, under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mr. Atteberry died March 29, 2009 in Tyler.
Kenneth Atteberry was born March 5, 1927 in Van Zandt County to the late Everett and Sudie Pepper Atteberry.
He moved to Ben Wheeler in 1982 from Farmers Branch. He served in the Merchant Marines in WWII, was a Mason and worked for the United States Department of Agriculture.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorris Estes Atteberry in 2005, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include his sister, Ruth Montano of Los Cruces, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday night at the funeral home.
