Mrs. Martha Hutchinson May died Sunday February 19, 1928, at the home of her daughter Mrs. William Fitzgerald. She was born July 18, 1833, in Escott Ontario the daughter of David and Lovina Brooker Hutchinson. She was united in marriage with George May of that place in 1851 and to the union were born 10 children of whom six are living. She also leaves 25 grand children and 25 great-grand children, also two brothers James and William Hutchinson. Funeral services were held at the home of the daughter Feb 20, under the direction of Charles Schriber with internment in the Ellington Cemetery, Rev Mark Putman officiating. Out of town friends that were present included David May of Mallorytown Ontario, Mrs. Ethel Cory of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley May of Jackson and Mrs. Lydia Stanley of Rivers Junction.
