Marlow - Funeral for VICKI JANE PRICE, 53, Marlow, Okla., will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 2, at Denton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Ward officiating.
Mrs. Price died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Marlow.
Burial will be in Denton Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, Marlow.
She was born Aug. 29, 1955, in Warwick, R.I., to Robert P. Thornton and Evelyn Martyn Thornton. She lived in Tulsa before moving to the Denton community 20 years ago. She graduated from Heritage Hall High School and attended college for two years. She married Joe Price Aug. 9, 1975, at St. Mark's Methodist Church in Bethany. She rode horses at the Glen Farm and was a member of the Hunter-Jumper Club. She was a member of Denton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son and his wife, Joseph Martyn Price and Lonna; a sister and her husband, Pam and Rob Shultz; two aunts; an uncle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Ed Benton, Andy Reynolds, Rick Reynolds, Jimmy Wilkerson, Jerry Wilkerson and Don Aston.
Honorary pallbearers are Ray Iverson and Bob Sullivan.
