Funeral Services for Lavona Wade, 73, of Geneva, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison.
Mrs. Wade died July 20, 2002, at home.
Born May 16, 1929, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, she lived in Madison and the Perry area since 1951 before moving to Geneva.
She was a member of Park Street Christian Church. She enjoyed her flower garden, bird watching and crocheting.
Mrs. Wade was a school bus driver for Perry Schools retiring in 1992 after 26 years.
Survivors are her daughters, Catherine (Neil) DePoy of Harpersfield and Debra A. Ethan of Eastlake; son, Rev. Larry (Marsha) Wade of Geneva; sisters, Dorothy Kell of Louisville, Kentucky, Nina Rooks of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Edith Hadley of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Elbert Sullivan of Shelbyville, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher DePoy, Timothy DePoy, Rebecca DiRusso, Daniel DiRusso and Adam Wade; and great-granddaughter, Amber DePoy.
Her parents, Sally M. (Bryant) Sullivan and William Taylor Sullivan; brothers, Rufus, Curtis, Bert and Lester Sullivan; and sisters, Gusta Smith and Nellie Atchley, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Thompson of Geneva Baptist Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.

In addition to the siblings listed here, there was another sibling who was stillborn or died at less than 10 years of age between 1899 to 1910 and a sister, Norma, who died as an infant in 1928.
