Active member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving in ward and stake Primary, MIA and Relief Society organizations. Served with her husband, who was president, in the Norway Oslo Mission, 1961-63. Served on Relief Society General Board, 1963-74. Ordinance worker, Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by children, Joan G. (Neil R). Van Leeuwen, Manti; Virginia G. (Robert L.) Halgren, Montana; Alton C. 'Tony" (Judy) Gundersen, Salt Lake; Retta Jean G.
