IUKA - Deward Houston Luttrell Sr., 88, died Friday, March 27, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II having served in the Philippines. He was a former teacher and a farmer and cattleman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with Bro. Charles McGill officiating. Burial will be in the Rutledge-Salem Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Deward H. Luttrell Jr. of Iuka; and one sister, Moselle Edmondson of Iuka.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colene Luttrell; and a daughter, Linda Gail Finch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
