The funeral for Jerry Don Tucker will be today (Friday) at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Churchill-Imes Family Funeral Home. Virgil Hale and Harold Irvan will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Miller, Danny Chapman, Mike Burchett, Gerald Stone, Roger Leslie, David Wyatt, Ronald Hargis and Jimmy Lockhart. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is now at the funeral home.

Mr. Tucker, 67, Brinn Road, Murray, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at 9:35 a.m. His death was from injuries sustained in a tractor-vehicle crash on Coles Campground Road.
A retired auto mechanic and machinist, he was former owner of Tucker Automotive, Murray. He was a member of Hickory Grove Church of Christ and Paducah Antique Tractor Club.
Born July 31, 1939, in Calloway County, he was the son of the late Virdon Tucker and Marie Patton Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Bennett Tucker; two sons, Terry Tucker and wife, Jan, Murray, and Roger Tucker, Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Kay McDonald and husband, Fred, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Mrs. Jill Morlan and husband, Autry, Dexter, Mo.; one granddaughter, Tamara Bennett and husband, Michael, Newbern, N.C.; one grandson, Wesley Tucker, Murray.
