AUGUSTA--Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Burns, 67, widow of John F. Burns of North Whitefield, died late Tuesday at her home. She was born August 17, 1881, the daughter of John F. Hanly and Katherine J. Doyle Hanly.
She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Paul H. Burns of North Whitefield, a sister, Mrs. Thomas Fox of North Whitefield; several nieces and nephews. [Whitefield Historical Society # 47663682]
