H. H. MOORE, Sr. FUNERAL SERVICE HELD TUESDAY
The funeral of H. H. Moore, Sr. was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, at the East Funeral Home in Texarkana with the Rev. S. N. Son officiating.
Pallbearers were W. S. Chance, Judge Grover Sellers, Sulphur Springs, W. F. Simmons, Frank Wilson Sr., Fred Cox, Elson Henderson, Clyde Watson, and Dr. Charles A. Stewart.
Moore was born November 27, 1869 in Dallas County. He was a businessman and farmer in Cooper and Amy community until 1929. He moved to Texarkana where he was employed by the Temple Cotton Oil Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Christian Church and in 1898 he was married to Miss Myrtie Davis.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. B. K. Foster, Ben Franklin; three sons, Guy Moore and H. J. Moore, both of Texarkana, and Marshall Moore of Midland.
