Robert Henry "Bobby" Cox was the son of Harvey Abraham Cox and Katherine Beveridge Cox. He was born and raised in the Moline, Illinois area and a graduate of Moline High School. He was employed as a Welder at the J.I. Case Company for twenty years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran 1948 -1951.
He married Twyla Colleen Anderson on 28 January 1952 at Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois. He and Twyla had three daughters who survive him.
Bobby was laid to rest at the Coal Valley, Illinois Cemetery near his parents.
