Iron Ridge - Myrtle M. Semerau, 79 of Iron Ridge, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999 at her home.

The funeral will be Friday, August 6, at 7 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Hustiford, The Rev. Timothy Bauer will officiate. Burial will be in Stettin Christian Cemetery, Wausau, Wis.

Mrs. Semerau was born June 1, 1920 in Athens, Wis., daughter of Fred and Lina (Shultheis) Romang. She was married to Hubert Semerau on Oct. 8, 1938 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau, Wis.

She worked for J.C. Penny and Robert Hall Clothing for many years, retired to ger home on Lake Sinissippi, near Hustiford, in 1972, and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Hustiford.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert; one daughter, XXXXX XXXXXXXX of New Berlin, Wis., one sister, Lottie Pelatzke of Madison, Wis.; one sister- in-law, XXXXXXXXXX of Waterford, Wis.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred Jr.; and sisters, Ruth, Olga, Goldie and Marka. Friends may call on Friday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
