Gideon W. Snyder was the son of Bennewell Snyder and Lydia Zimmerman.

He married Mary Jane Zimmerman in 1884.

Gideon died at his home in Reynoldsville, PA and was buried 6 Apr 1948.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP MAN DIES IN HOME

Funeral services for Gideon Snyder, 85, of Reynoldsville R. D. 1 resident who died in his home Saturday morning, will be held in the Emerickville Lutheran Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the church cemetery. Dr. B. R. McKnight will be in charge of the services. Friends are being received in the Ober Funeral Home in Reynoldsville until noon tomorrow.

Mr. Snyder was born in Winslow Township November 30, 1862, a son of Benjamin and Lydia (Zimmerman) Snyder. He was united in marriage to the late Jennie Zimmerman 64 years ago. He was well known throughout Winslow Township, where he had been active as a farmer for more than 68 years.

He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Esther Nolph and. Mrs. Della Starr, of Reynoldsville, R. D. 1; Arthur Snyder, of DuBois; Lawrence Snyder, of Reynoldsville, and Erdice Snyder, of Brookfield, Mass.
