ABERDEEN - Gregory "Greg" McRae, 51, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at the Care Center of Aberdeen. He was born Oct. 11, 1957, to the late Booker T. McRae and Ethel Donald McRae in Gary, Ind. He was a 1976 graduate of the Dune Land School and a former employee of the Trade Winds Training Center in Gary. He was a member of Clarks Chapel M.B. Church. He enjoyed music, dancing, word finding puzzles and riding motorcycles.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Clarks Chapel M.B. Church with the Rev. J.D. King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home of Okolona is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his sister and caregiver, Carolyn McRae King (Rev. J.D. King) of Okolona; three nephews, Jamal (Nadra) Grimes and Jamar (Renise) Grimes, both of Okolona, and James King III of Lacey, Wash.; three nieces, Tanisha McRae of Denver, Colo., and Kathy (Ralph) Brown and Deidra King, both of Lacey, Wash.; one uncle, Don L. and Joan Donald of Gary, Ind.; five aunts, Mattie Carter and Evelyn Dillard, both of Meridian, Catherine McGee of Quitman, and Julia Tilmon, and Dorothy and Charles Hardiman, all of Gary, Ind.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today. A wake will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
