Frederick William Krenske, the son of John & Wilhelmina (Hohenhaus) Krenske, was born on November 18, 1870 in Manitowac, Wisconsin, and died on May 28, 1952 in Rice County, Minnesota.

On April 5, 1894, in Rice County, Minnesota, he married Emma Marie Miller, the daughter of William & Caroline (Keller) Miller. She was born on May 26, 1872 in Batvia, Illinois, and died on June 18, 1956 in Rice County, Minnesota.

Frederick and Emma had four children: Herbert, Elda, Florence, and Jesse.

Faribault Daily News, June 6, 1952:

"Funeral services for Frederick William Krenske, 81, who passed away on Wednesday evening, May 28, at his home in Faribault were conducted on Saturday, May 31, at 1:30 p.m. from the Parker Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church, with the Rev. William Erie Shields, pastor officiating. Graveside services were held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery. During the services, Dr. and Mrs. E. E. Luhring sang "Rock Of Ages" and "Good Night And Good Morning," accompanied by Mrs. Harry Sanborn. Pallbearers were Herman Fischer, William Fischer, Dr. H. F. Eggleston, Walter Dienst, Otto Klatt and Arthur Fox, all of Faribault. Frederick William Krenske was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on November 18, 1870. Mr. Krenske came to Faribault with his parents when he was but a small child. The family soon moved to the Roberds Lake community where he attended the public schools, spent his childhood and grew to manhood. On April 5, 1894 he was united in marriage to Emma Miller of Faribault. To this union were born four children: two sons and two daughters. Mr. Krenske followed the occupation of farming and carpentery work. The Krenskes moved into Faribault about forty-four years ago. Mr. Krenske was a member of the Faribault Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his son Herbert who departed this life in August 1950 and by his grandson James Krenske who was killed in service in the Second World War. Mr. Krenske is survived by his wife Emma and by his two daughters: (Elda) Mrs. Ernest Murray of Robinsdale, Minnesota and (Florence) Mrs. Walter Huff of Faribault; by one son, Jesse Krenske of Minneapolis, by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; by one brother, William Krenske of Roberds Lake; by three sisters; (Ida) Mrs. Fred Voge, Mrs. Minnie Voge and (Lydia) Mrs. William Kalien all of Faribault and other relatives and many friends."
