Frances Mae Troutman, 85, formerly of 925 W. North St., Carlisle, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999 in ManorCare Health Services, South Middleton Township.
Born Nov. 27, 1913 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elsie Thomas and the widow of Richard R. Mumper, who died in 1971, and Harry C. Troutman, who died in 1989.
A 1933 graduate of Carlisle High School, she was formerly employed at the Carlisle Hospital and resided most of her life in Carlisle.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Troutman is survived by a brother, Robert Thomas of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Martha V. Thomas of Hagerstown, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jasper, Ambrose, Harry and Charles Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Lynn R. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Township.
Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
