MRS. MAY DONELSON RITES ARE HELD AT ANDERSON
Funeral services for Mrs. May Donelson, 83, who died Tuesday at 7:30 at her home in Anderson after several years illness, were held at 2:30 today in the Emmanuel Baptist Church. The Reverend Delmar Yates officiated.
Burial was in the Anderson Cemetery under the direction of the Tatum funeral home.
Survivors are her husband, Frank Donelson, four daughters, Mrs. Maude Wells, of Yellville, Arkansas, Mrs. Eliza Caviness, also of Yellville, Mrs, Lizzy Gayhart of Medical Lake, Washington and Mrs. Ellen Moore of Anderson, and a son, Herman Yakley of Van Buren, Arkansas.

May H. - aka Mahulda -(Sanders) Yakley Donelson died at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Wesley Yakley. She was the daughter of Henry Sanders and Rhoda "Rody" Elizabeth (Rice) Sanders.
May Hulda - aka Mahulda - Sanders married William Wesley Yakley on August 11, 1887 in Howell County, Missouri. The children from this union included; Sarah "Blanche" Yakley, Anna "Maude" (Yakley) Wells, the twins, Mary "Eliza" (Yakley) Caviness and Rachel Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Yakley) Gayhart and their son, Herman W. M. Yakley SR.
William Wesley Yakley was born in April of 1859, and at present, the date of William's death is unknown. According to the Missouri 1900 Census, his last known residence was in Gainesville, Ozark County.
May Hulda - aka Mahulda - (Sanders) Yakley married her second husband, Columbus Franklyn "Frank" Donelson, on May 22, 1904, in Gainesville, Ozark County, Missouri. Frank was born on May 8, 1880, and he died on December 21, 1955. The child from this union was Ellen Marie (Donelson) Moore.
May Hulda - aka Mahulda - had several grandchildren. In part they included; Lorene (Yakley) Helm, Lora (Yakley) Peters, Flora Mae (Yakley) Neidecker, Betty Lou (Yakley) Stockton, Audrey (Yakley) Moses, Patricia Ann (Yakley) Knox, and Clyde Yakley all of Van Buren, Arkansas, Zelma D. (Yakley) Brisco of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Herman M. Yakley JR. of Alma, Arkansas; and Mrs. Milton Butler (nee Moore) of Pineville, Missouri; over 30 great-grandchildren; over 60 great-great-grandchildren; and over 15 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Name variations are; May, Mae, Maye, Hulda, Huldy, Huldie, Mahulda, Mehulda, Donalson, Donaldson.
