ALTA VISTA - Services will be Wednesday at the Baptist Church here for Andrew F. Schrader, 72, Alta Vista, who died Sunday in a Council Grove hospital.
He was born Nov. 8, 1898 at Elmo in Dickinson County and had lived in the Alta Vista community since 1938. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Alta Vista. He was a retired farmer.
He was married to Helen Hawkes Nov. 3, 1920. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Bethe, Salina; 2 sons, Robert Schrader, Eskridge, and Dwight Schrader, Alta Vista; a brother, Carl Schrader, Abilene; 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Bethe and Mrs. Helen Holt, both of Abilene, and 12 grandchildren.
Burial will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. Kendall Funeral Home at Council Grove is in charge of arrangements.
