Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Huckaby, 77, died Sunday at Beverly Health Care. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 30, 1927, to the late Julius Smylie Huckaby and Ruth Leggett.
She was retired from Stahl Urban. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she served in the nursery for 30 years and acted as grandmother to a host of nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School.
Preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers, James C. Huckaby, Aubrey Huckaby, Claude Huckaby, Lenox Huckaby and Bill Huckaby; and a sister, Lucille Reeves.
Survivors are her brother, Bob Huckaby and wife, Katherine, of Bogue Chitto, and sisters, Mable Wallace and husband, James, of Bogue Chitto, and Mattie Brown, of Moss Point.
Memorials may be made to Mississippi Baptist Children's Village.
