Mrs. Lee (Goree) Osborne, age 64, of Sterlington, La., passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009, in Winnfield, La.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Goree and the late Willie Mae (Persons) Goree. Mrs. Osborne was also preceded in death by her husband, William Osborne; daughter, Angie Sims; son, Jesse Bland; and son-in-law, Claude Hayes.
She is survived by her
Two Daughters, Debra Hayes of Winnfield, La.; Rena Sims of Missouri;
Three Sons, Herman Bland of Ruston, La.; Richard Bland of Winnfield, La.; Robert Lee Sims of Missouri;
One Sister, Patsy Massey of Strong, Ark.;
Fourteen grandchildren;
Twelve great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2009 and from noon to service time Sunday, March 29, 2009. Funeral services will be held at Southern Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, with Rev. Aaron Gowens officiating. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Calvin, La.
