Services for Yancey H. Saunders, 84, will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Primrose Funeral Home with burial in the Norman IOOF Cemetery.
He died Sunday in Norman Municipal Hospital following a short illness.
Saunders was born in Texas and moved to Norman in 1926. He was a retired Norman police chief and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Velma; three sons; and five daughters, all of Norman.
