Funeral Services for W.C. Nyegaard held Wednesday

Funeral services for William C. Nyegaard, 88, who died at his home near Farmerville at 5:30 A.M., Tues, February 1, of a heart attack, were held at the residence at 2 P.M. Wed with Farmerville Baptist church officiating.

Interment was in the Taylor cemetery, with the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were C.B. Hayes, Hale Ward, R.C. Hall, Hebert Waller and Stein Baughman.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Estelle Kirkpatrick Nyegaard, he is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. W.A. Kennedy, of Farmerville; John W. Nyegaard, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; C.D. Nyegaard, C.W. Nyegaard, A.L. Nyegaard, Mrs. J.E. Waller, Miss Allie Nyegaard and W.E. Nyegaard all of Farmerville; Mrs. J.A. McDaniel of Downsville, and D.E. Nyegaard who is somewhere in England in the military service. 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Nyegaard was born in Farmerville and lived his entire useful life in this community.
