Claude Franklin Adcock
Claude Franklin Adcock, 62, of 1600 Newton, died Saturday in a local hospital. He had been a resident of Austin-Travis County for 52 years, was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and the Capital Lodge No. 23 I.O.O.F Adcock was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Rev. A. D. Eberhart officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery under direction of Wilke-Clay Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be W. M. Harlan, Donnie Harlan, Guy Harlan, Alvin Dean Adcock, Cecil Barrow, and Earnest Shelly.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Annie Teague and Mrs. Ruby Johnson, both of Austin; three brothers, Allie (Bud) Adcock and Eugene Adcock, both of Burnet, and Sidney (Kit) Adcock of Bastrop; and a number of nieces and nephews.
