LAKE CHARLES -- Services for Pearl W. Williams will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of the Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, with the Rev. Thomas Rich officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery near Joyce.

Mrs. Williams, 82, of Lake Charles died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Winnfield, a retired teacher, a Pink Lady, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, a member of the Council on Aging, a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, a member of the Home Demonstration Club, Louisiana Home Extension Services, and a member of the South Winnfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Charles Parker; one sister, Maude McManus of Alexandria; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until time of services today in the funeral home.
