Mr. Barnett graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1973 and was a member of Boyleston Baptist Church. He had been a food preparer for West Wind Inn, Sanabel Island, Florida.
He was born January 19, 1955, in Frankfort, to Charles W. and Rosemary Barnett.
Surviving are a sister, Charlotte M. Bass of Muncie; and a brother, Charles R. Barnett of Economy.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, with Pastor Merton Bobo officiating.
