Judy M. Browning, age 63, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 8:00AM on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, after a recent illness. She was born on January 10, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Clyde Proffitt and Irene (Parriman) Alsip. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Browning.
Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and April Browning of Troy; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Browning of Graham, Florida; two sisters, Edith Holland of Eaton, Ohio and Ruth "Bootsie" Alsip of Carlisle, Ohio; and five grandchildren: William Schire, Wesley Browning, Chase Browning, Jared Browning and Emily Browning.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Frank W. Browning and brother, Manuel Alsip.
Judy helped organize dances for the Friends of Sobriety. She trained as a medical assistant and also assisted her friend, Garth The Pie Guy in his Business.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Monday, March 30, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 2-4PM Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
