C.A. and Agnes Hageman, of the Hageman-Kidd Hotel Company, owned and operated the Crosby House Hotel in Beaumont, Texas, and the Phoenix Hotel in Shreveport, Louisiana, with Capt. George W. Kidd. Along with four other women, she established the Young Ladies' Oil Company in Beaumont in 1901. The Agnes Hageman Trust was established in February of 1958.
