DOVER, TN - Mrs. Chloie L. Stubblefield, 87, died Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Sidney Stavely, Dover, after, an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Long Creek Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. R. B. Dowd, and the Rev. Wallace Thornton. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery, Route 1, Dover.

Mrs. Stubblefield was born in Ohio Dec 25, 1884 and had lived in Stewart Co., since childhood.

She was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Eliza Glandon Markin. Her husband, George Stubblefield, died April 13, 1952.

She was a member of the Long Creek Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors in addition to her daughter are three sons, Cornelius, Granite City, IL; Loudon, Murray, Ky., and Glandon Stubblefield, Hunt-sville, Ala.; five other daughters, Mrs. Ida Hill, Plantsville, Conn.; Mrs. Hestella Howard, Springfield, Tenn.; Mrs. Eva Mulherin, Mercer, Tenn.; Mrs. Chloie Jewel Cox, Jackson, Tenn.; Mrs. Virginia Parker, Granite City IL.; 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
