Jeremy W. Peters, 30, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Beech Creek, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Pittsburgh as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born in State College on Feb. 17, 1979, a son of John E. and Linda C. Thompson Peters of Beech Creek.
Jeremy graduated from Bald Eagle-Nittany High School in 1997 and was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He was a supervisor of plant operations for Lane Construction in Pittsburgh.
Surviving, along with his parents, are a daughter, Ava Grayce Peters of Pittsburgh; sister Jodi L. (Brad) Hockenberry of Beech Creek; maternal grandfather Robert M. Thompson of Blanchard; and two nephews, Maddox and Brody Hockenberry of Beech Creek.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Blanchard Church of Christ, 161 Beach St., with Rev. Russel J. Moldovan officiating. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery, Howard. Visitation will be Friday, March 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard.
