Allen was the second child born to Andrew Hall and Elizabeth who remarried a Mr.Barlett. Allen came to visit family in the Tigertown area(names unknown)and met and married Ella Hamett on 30 Dec 1885 in Lamar Co. TX. Allen and Ella had 5 children 3 girls and 2 boys. They travled back and forth to Hope Hempstead Co. AR to the west parts of Lamar Co. They lived in the Michigan Prairie and Ubell area of Fannin Co.
Allen and Ella were married 56 Yrs.

A long and useful life came to a close Wednesday afternoon of last week at 2:30 with the passing of A.A. Hall.
Mr Hall was born in Prescott,Ark. October 23,1861, being 80 years of age. He had resided in the Tigertown community 35 years or more, and had been a member of the Methodist church since early life. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge for 25 years.
Mr. Hall leaves his wife and 5 children, Mrs. Clyde Brown of Tigertown, Mrs. Frank Miller of Petty, Mrs Thurman Baty of Honey Grove, Will Hall of Petty and Charlie Hall of Kirkland; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The last rites were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with burial at the Tigertown Cemetery.
